Healthy Child Annual Plan

At American Medical Centers we recognise the anxiety of finding good care at the time of illness and we, therefore, offer a range of plans that cover your health and that of your children for a period of 12 months. These plans offer comprehensive healthcare at a basic and premium level.

In addition to comprehensive plans for adults and children, we also offer a Maternity Plan, a Plan for Infants (up to 12 months old) and a Consultation Plan for Children over 1 year.

If you are interested in any of these plans you can see the schedule of services offered and we would ask you to contact the Sales Manager in your Clinic who will personally explain the Plan’s contract including exemptions for certain conditions. We will also politely ask you to declare any pre-existing conditions, which will be sent confidentially to the Clinic’s Medical Director.

Schedule of health services

Pediatrician and nurse consultations and related medical procedures, including 1 annual preventative basic checkup

Specialist physician referrals (by AMC referral only)

Radiology services (x-ray, ultrasound, gastroscopy, endoscopy, colonoscopy, MRI, CT by AMC referral only)

MRI, CT scan 1 per year

Laboratory services (except allergy panel, vitamins, DNA testing) by AMC referral only

Prescribed by AMC pediatrician

Annual Flu Vaccine

Physiotherapy

3 sessions per year, 60% discount thereafter

5 sessions per year, 60% discount thereafter

24-hour access to AMC medical staff. Services include physician and nurse consultations, AMC medical procedures, x-rays, laboratory tests, outpatient emergency treatment.

Scheduled home visits. Services include physician or nurse consultations, AMC home care procedures. Scheduled home visits are based on AMC physician or nurse availability and approval by AMC physician.

Limit 5 per year, 60% discount thereafter

Includes coordination of emergency hospitalizations (due to accident, or any other acute condition) by an AMC physician. Medical evacuations will be coordinated (if not covered by other insurance.) Does not include planned procedure admissions or pre-existing conditions admissions.

5 days coverage if prescribed by an AMC pediatrician

Ambulance transportation within local area is covered for emergencies to the AMC and to the hospitals to which AMC refers.

Limit 5 per year, 25% discount thereafter

Session with AMC Psychologist, Dietician

3 sessions per year

Coverage
