Dr. Karolina Jakubczyk graduated from the Medical Academy of Warsaw in 2005 and completed her internship at the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw. She earned her specializations in Family Medicine and Palliative Medicine.
Following graduation, she worked in various clinical hospitals and private clinics as a General Practitioner. As a Palliative Medicine Specialist, she worked in home and stationary hospices and in a regional Pain Clinic. Additionally, she completed post-diploma studies in Clinical Nutrition and courses in hospital epidemiology at the Institute of Hygiene in Warsaw.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served at the COVID hospital of the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw and as an emergency doctor in the emergency room at the Military Hospital of Legionowo.
Dr. Jakubczyk holds an ALS (Advanced Life Support) certificate and a PALS (European Paediatric Advanced Life Support) certificate from the European Resuscitation Council. Her vast professional journey has taken her across borders, including notable experiences at the Marie Curie Hospice in Edinburgh and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, where she expanded her expertise in Palliative Care and Neurology, respectively.
Among her professional interests are infectious diseases, vaccinations, acute and chronic pain treatment, and cardiovascular prevention. Dr. Jakubczyk highly values establishing good therapeutic relations with her patients and effective communication.
